Proper tire storage
Due to the specific climatic and relief conditions in Bulgaria, it is most reasonable to use tires according to the season. From this fact arises the need to store one set of tires. Car tires are designed to last a long time under high pressure and load. Improper storage of tires can lead to loss of quality and unpleasant vibrations.
Several basic rules should be used when storing tires:
- The first is that they are not pressed and deformed.
- The important thing is that the room is dry and not contaminated with fuels, oils or other similar substances aggressive to the tires.
- It is of utmost importance that the tires do not fall into direct sunlight and be away from electric motors and ozonators.
- Tires without rims are best stored vertically on racks and must be rotated at least once a month. This is done to reduce the likelihood of distortion in the pressure zone.
- Tires with rims can be hung to hang vertically or stacked on top of each other. The periodic rearrangement rule also applies to them.
